Cab Speaker Mic Guitar Owner's Notes
Similar to other ENGL clip, but, with this one I rolled off the volume knob most of the way on the guitar and lowered the master down to 3.

Gain test. The gain is on 10, boost button on pressed, and the lead gain on 10. Master almost 5. Channel volume about 3. Playing gets really weird, but, I thought it sounded kinda cool in a whole un-listenable sorta way.

recorded whisper quiet. This amp can really sound like you have a distortion pedal or something.

I used 2 mics on this, one close a shure sm 57 beta (top right speaker) and the second 57 was about 2 to 3 feet back. No post EQ or effects. My room does not sound so good, but, this technique seems promising.
Settings: Gain 4: Lead Gain: 8, Presence:1, All tone controls 5 and channel volume 5 and master volume 5. Amp

Small snippet of all the small things. I was curious if the engl savage could get a sound close to this. This is channel 3 (crunch 2). Gain on 5 and presence on 5. B:5 M:4 T:5.5 HB:5 Vol:6 Master:6
